Kiran Nair is a generalist with over 20 years of cross‑industry experience across New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. She is currently Associate Director of Action Learning at the Asia School of Business-MIT Sloan, where she connects MBA and EMBA students with real‑world projects across Southeast Asia while deepening industry relationships. Her delivery in this role is rooted in her early‑career work in New Zealand, where she partnered with universities and polytechnics on marketing, industry outreach, and the development of new qualifications, working both as a market researcher and a management consultant.
Prior to ASB, Kiran was Director of Operations at a US Inc. 5000 B2B marketing agency, where she co‑led a Malaysia‑based team of content writers and spearheaded the integration of a second delivery centre in the Philippines, overseeing hiring and training operations. She also spent time as a Research Manager with a boutique healthcare consultancy, where she led qualitative studies for healthcare providers, and worked with a wide range of startups, agencies, and multinational companies, contributing insights that helped them understand consumers, shape new products, and build stronger business cases.
Outside of her professional work, Kiran has taught dance for many years, building small dance communities in every country she has lived in as a way of creating connection and belonging.
