Hybrid Masterclass with Pieter Stek - Five Paradoxes of Technological Revolutions

Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 9:30 AM until 2:30 PMMalay Peninsula Standard Time UTC +08:00

While every technological revolution is unique, including the current excitement about AI, technological revolutions are also utterly predictable — which is the first paradox we will address in this Master Class. You will also learn that being a technology leader is very risky, that technology is not the source of innovation, that patents are overrated, and that making things completely free (including AI models) can be extremely profitable. If you expect that technological change could impact you or your organization, it will pay to be aware of these paradoxes. After all, as noted by the French innovator Louis Pasteur (1822-1895), "chance favors the prepared mind"
