    Hear from ASB MBA alumni as they discuss their backgrounds, career goals, why they chose the ASB MBA and their career post-MBA. This session will be moderated by Associate Dean Sean Ferguson.


    > Gary Liao (Canada) joined the class of 2019 from North Carolina, US. Before coming to ASB, he practiced law and managed legal programs in the United States for seven years. Gary obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Cornell Law School and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University. After completing the ASB MBA, Gary moved to Taiwan to work as an Associate at McKinsey & Company.

    Ricardo Acosta Latapi (Mexico) joined the class of 2019 from Mexico having worked in advertising, e-commerce and sales across Asia and Latin America. Passionate about platforms and enabling global organizations with technology, Ricardo was one of the first employees at Facebook Latin America and Procter and Gamble Mexico. After completing the ASB MBA, Ricardo went on to start an International Expansion role at DIDI Chixing, based in the company’s HQ in Beijing. 

    Crystal Cha (Malaysia) joined the class of 2018, armed with work experience in start-ups and public-listed companies in Malaysia. Born and bred locally, she studied abroad and obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Teesside, UK. After completing the ASB MBA, Crystal moved halfway around the world to Finland and landed in various marketing roles within BrandBastion, a global marketing and advertising firm. Just recently, Crystal has joined Microsoft Kuala Lumpur as a Marketing Manager.

    Benjamin Archangeli (US) joined the class of 2018 from Texas, US. Before joining ASB, Benjamin moved from Michigan to Houston to work for FMC Technologies. He held roles in quality and manufacturing engineering to support subsea oil production. Through Action Learning at ASB he spent three months living, working, and learning at Esquel, an apparel factory in the north of Vietnam. After completing the ASB MBA, Benjamin was hired by the same factory in Vietnam where he is now a Technical Mechanical Engineer.

    Klara Markus (US/Venezuela) joined the class of 2019 from the US. Before joining ASB, she worked at an EdTech startup leading their Southeast Asia regional expansion. In her previous roles she has worked across Asia, Europe, Latin American, and the US. She has a passion for technology, with a specific focus in emerging tech in healthcare and e-commerce. Klara holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Yale. After her ASB MBA, Klara moved to Spain to work with Amazon as a Senior Manager.
