    Executive Education Course: What Moves the Currency Markets

    Frameworks for thinking about what moves currency markets, in theory and in practice. We will talk about monetary policy and macroeconomic news, risk, capital flows and external exposures, commodities and central bank intervention. Make sense of the jargon and critically assess reporting on currency markets.

    About Prof. Anella Munro

    Anella is part of our Master of Central Banking team. Before joining ASB, she worked at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, the Bank for International Settlements (Hong Kong office) and the Asian Development Bank. Her research interests are asset pricing, monetary policy, international macroeconomics and macro-prudential policy.  

    She has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from MIT and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oxford.
